(TB) 'Sunset Plaza' 2009/2010, Blyth'Sunset Plaza' (Barry Blyth, R. 2008). Seedling# O180-A. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards blended peach-apricot deepening toward apricot at edges; falls peach, opalescent overlay of pastel lavender deepening toward lavender signal below beard, hafts rosy brown; beards light burnt tangerine. Seedling# M59-1, 'Fashionista' sibling X seedling# L185-A, 'Mango Daiquiri' sibling.Hybridizer's Comment: One of the loveliest pastels we have raised to date. Gorgeous blended peach-apricot standards, tending more towards apricot on the outer. The falls are peach with an overlay of opalescent lavender, deepening towards a lavender blaze below the beards. Hafts are rosy brown and beards are light burnt tangerine.Lovely show branching and just a luscious pastel combination. Quite striking. Its pod parent, 'Fashionista' is a heavy rebloomer, though 'Sunset Plaza' shows no tendency to rebloom so far.
